At least they stay relatively local. All the other options would’ve caused a lot of disruption, IMO.

Agree.... fuck the politicians in Oakland.  They didn't want to help the Raiders go into the 21st century in a stadium worthy of a NFL team.  Hell, they didn't even want to fix what they had.

Oakland will never have an NFL team again....

Shit, not just an NFL team...

They may never have another professional sports team, period... Especially if the A's bounce... Warriors already leaving...

Interesting. The park is gorgeous. I might have to fly out to a game with my girlfriend.

Yeap... 9ers wouldn't waive territorial rights...  I think they did it as a business move to force the Raiders into playing at Levi's, because they can MAKE money (or save) by splitting rent with the Raiders... or charging the Raiders as tenants...  so why let them play at Oracle and reap no benefits...

Honestly, if not Oakland, I think they should bite the bullet and play at Levi's... It's already built to house 2 teams, the lighting can be converted to Raider colors at the switch of a button... It's one of the most technologically advanced stadiums in the league...

The only knocks are the heat (direct sunlight), which would suck for Raider fans in all black, lol... and those ugly ass red seats...

But on the upside... all the reports I read were how terrible the 9ers turnouts were... Imagine if we play there and our fans pack the place and show up better than the 9ers fans do... That would be awesome...

But playing "tenant" to the 9ers must really rub MD the wrong way, because it really is the most logical solution...
