Thanks to everyone for all the prayers and good wishes.  It meant more to me than you know, and I really needed it.  Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

I'm home tonight (with a bunch of meds,  Grin ), but I can't drive or go back to work just yet. In any event, the doctors (I have about 4 or 5 LOL) keep saying that I'll re-absorb the blood in my brain and eventually be like it never happened.  Except that the malformation I was probably born with is no longer there.

Thanks, CB.

I had another CAT scan yesterday, and they didn't make me stay there this time.   Grin

Good news again!

I saw the surgeon again on Monday.  He wants to see me in 2 months for another angiogram, just to be sure my brain didn't make another arteriovenous fistula.  They sometimes do that.  If I'm still all clear, he says that it's "history."  Meaning that I'm better than new for life, and it's all over.   Smiley

It's really wonderful.  Most people who have this just suddenly drop dead, and nobody knew it was there.  By having this happen the way it did, and in a place near a bigtime brain hospital, I've been very very lucky and blessed and any other good term for it.

I had the follow-up angiogram today.  The fistula dam stayed in place!  I'm good for another year.   Grin
