Hate to see him go, he was legit.  Realistically though a lot of his production came from the fact that we basically had no WRs last year, that shouldn't be the case this year.

This is a big key the middle linebacker. I'd say with the acquisition of the new safety are rosters almost filled out we're going to add some defensive ends maybe and a linebacker at 2 but what else? Offensive lineman in the draft for sure maybe a running back our roster is pretty much filled out almost besides a few positions

TE

You should always draft BPA. It is the rare opportunity that occurs when the BPA fits a need and becomes a truly great pick.

I have said for years that the NFL should hold the draft prior to FA so the teams can then fill their holes with free agents instead of drafting a player above their talent level because of need.

YES!  I have never understood WHY the Fk the NFL chooses to do it this way.  Is it to benefit the FA players?  Is it to allow them to hit big on that 2nd contract or some such thing?  Makes NO sense to me otherwise.  Was it a part of the CBA at some point in time?  You'd think the owners would get together and force a change if they did not like it this way?

Obviously they like it just fine.

This one made me think.

If I was an owner, I'd open FA  B4 draft. I would rather have my signings in place that would let me make trades during draft. Could I do this if it were reversed? Yes.

I would just want to know where my checkbook balance was entering the draft.

I don't think there is a "right" or "wrong" approach.

He could be all the saints need to put their all offense over the top so that one blown call doesn't cost them a Super Bowl next year. I thoroughly expect the Saints to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl next year. And I believe Drew Brees is the best quarterback in the NFL. If you look at Brady's performance in the Super Bowl, I thought he was God awful threw a lot of bad passes a lot of ducks I don't know I thought Brady look terrible and they won in spite of him.

Sundays are only part of the equation.

Add locker room and practice and workouts into the equation.

This team is ......err was...... void of leaders.

This team needed a big o' bunch of Alpha Dogz.

We got plenty now.

I preciate the guy. He stood up.

But was he made to look better than he was because our receivers were shit last year?

Plus he's 31.

Don't be surprised if the boys draft a TE.
