After being cut loose by the Lions, Nevin Lawson is looking for a new home.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the free agent cornerback is visiting the Raiders on Wednesday.

The former fourth-rounder from Utah State started 14 games for the Lions last year and 45 the last three seasons, but they let him go for cap space so they could sign Justin Coleman.

Raiders free agent Cornerback Rashaan Melvin is visiting the Lions, giving this a chance to be a circle-of-life transaction.

The Raiders have been busy lining up visits this week, bringing in linebacker Vontaze Burfict as they attempt to restock on defense.

is this guy any good?  The fact they let him go for cap space tends to make me think yes.

Its kinda quiet so please excuse me if you dont want me posting every day visits like this and let me know and I wont.

I need a fucking wing man. Yer it. Report here every day and...........

We need to get you to HOF status.

Thank you!  :cheers

Raiders sign free agent QB Mike Glennon

ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) -- The Oakland Raiders have signed unrestricted free agent quarterback Mike Glennon.

The addition of Glennon on Friday gives the Raiders a second backup to Derek Carr along with Nathan Peterman.

Glennon is entering his seventh season in the NFL. He was originally a third-round pick by Tampa Bay in 2013 and also has played with Chicago and Arizona. He has played in 27 games with 22 starts during his career. He has completed 60.9 percent of his passes, averaging 6.5 yards per attempt with 35 TDs, 20 interceptions and an 84 passer rating.

Glennon threw just 21 passes as a backup last season for the Cardinals.

I have never seen a trophy handed out to the team or player with the best analytics. Games are played on the field. Analytics are a tool to use when evaluating talent or performance, but they aren't the end all and be all.

How can this trade be judged until after we know what players are drafted (and how they perform!!) With the picks we acquired? This trade can't truly be graded for quite some time.
ugh the A's

"With that said Lawson does add depth at the corner back position and they say you can never have enough corners"
