Raider Gridiron / Re: Live Stadium Cam

I will be in Las Vegas during NFL Draft Week and the hotel I am staying at, I will be going past the stadium site, maybe I'll even take pictures of it.

Favorite sport to watch outside of Football.

NHL is considering adding a 32nd team to even out the divisions at 8 teams a piece.  Word is that Seattle is the most likely the city that will get it.  Seattle is undergoing a renovation to KeyArena so that it can be suitable to host NHL games.

Before Gabe Jackson came, no one on our offensive line were maulers.  Jackson gave us the big mauler we desperately needed at that time.  Hell yeah I would resign him, he deserves it 100%

Raider Gridiron / Re: Raiders Offense Sunday

They should fire Musgrave....Dude has no idea what he is doing

the Raiders produced a season-high 626 yards of total offense, 350 more than the Buccaneers and more than any other team has amassed in the past two NFL seasons.

This is why I jump down people's throats when they criticize Musgrave. Guy obviously has a plan.

Raiders offense is one of the best in the league.

Lets enjoy the ride.

I used to question Musgrave's playcalling myself but when you look at the big picture, Musgrave seems to call short plays to lull defenders to come up and then goes deep with Cooper and Crabtree.

Austin Howard needs to restructure.  Take a slight pay cut or goodbye.

Agreed, I want to see Vadal Alexander get back at right tackle.  We know what we are going to get with Austin Howard there and he is easily the weakest link on our line.  Vadal may make his share of mistakes he makes on the field at least he can learn from them and grow as a football player since he is a rookie.

Raider Gridiron / Re: Derek Carr
« on: October 31, 2016, 11:34:47 PM »
Derek Carr has just been a godsend for our team.  Him and Khalil Mack alone make the 2014 Draft class a success.  He acquitted himself in year one with no talent around him and a bad coaching staff.  In Year 2 he gets a real off. coord. in Bill Musgrave, talented receivers around him in Amari Cooper, Michael Crabtree, and others, and an offensive line that keeps his jersey clean.

When I watch Carr, I see the arm strength to make all the throws in the NFL as well as the will to win and the mental toughness to get himself and his teammates to fight through adversity like being penalized more times than any game in NFL history.  Carr is going to be a yearly candidate for NFL MVP.

Just in time for training camp.  You didn't miss much around here.  Shits about to get rolling.

Agreed, July is one of the slowest and most boring months of the NFL year.

Amari Cooper also had trouble beating press coverage from cornerbacks that were slightly taller and stronger than he is.  Adding Sean Smith was the best thing to happen to Amari so far because he is teaching him how to beat the press from the bigger cornerbacks by showing him what moves he uses to jam receivers and what opposing receivers did to beat him.

It isn't him, Aldon Smith's thumb and hand are bigger and darker than the one holding the blunt in the vid.  This is definitely, and should be, much ado about nothing in regards to Aldon.

General Talk / Please say a prayer for my family
« on: July 19, 2016, 10:03:00 PM »
Hey everyone, I know I have not been on here as much for quite some time but I was busy helping two of my relatives for months due to their battles with cancer.  One of them lost her battle a couple of months ago and early yesterday morning an 81-year-old uncle of mine lost his battle.  I was extremely close to both as was the rest of my family.  This has been a rough year for us due to people we lost. :'(

Raider Gridiron / Re: Raiders Reach Agreement With OL Kelechi Osemele
« on: March 08, 2016, 12:29:17 PM »
This is a HUGE pickup.  Kelechi Osemele is a mauler in run blocking and pass blocking.  When he gets to the second level he buries linebackers.  He has experience playing all over the line except center.  Plus he brings a Super Bowl pedigree and has yet to enter his prime.

So are we still going to try to keep Penn? Or does this mean he's def gone?

I'm thinking it's the latter.

Raiders are looking to upgrade and they are conscious of the fact Donald Penn is getting up there in age plus he is not as good as he once was in his prime as a Buccaneer.  It will all depend on what Penn wants and how much Raiders will be willing to pay him.

NFL & AFC WEST NEWS / Re: Fuck Greg Hardy!
« on: November 06, 2015, 02:21:00 PM »
Anyone in the NFL that chose not to do anything to Greg Hardy is a derelict.  Hardy is an absolute savage and a despicable, disgusting excuse of a human being who does not deserve the privilege of playing in the NFL let alone receive a paycheck.  Oh, and Jerry Jones is a douchebag for even defending that puke by saying he is a "true leader" for the Dallas Cowboys.  No one should have ever signed that scumbag.  Every time I see Greg Hardy's face in an NFL game or outside of it I will be booing his garbage ass every time.
