I know the steaks are delicious with the melted butter spooned onto them, but when I am grilling steaks for the wife and myself, we don’t want all the extra fat. After many years of trying different cuts, there is a clear winner in which steak is best. The filet mignon. Or, the “filet.” It needs nothing but salt & pepper, and maybe a light brush of olive oil.
I will try the beef cube paste instead of salt / pepper method sometime. Could be pretty good.
